Has Sharon Stone caught the bug that is currently running rife through California, no, not Swine Flu, anorexia nervosa!

Arriving at An Evening Of Women: Celebrating Art, Music and Equality at the Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel, the Basic Instinct star had evidently lost the basic instinct to eat, if her recent weight loss is anything to go by.

Looking initially glamorous in a figure hugging bright orange Herve Leger creation, Stone certainly had achieved the style of a any 18 year old Hollywood starlet, but at 51, the sight of her wafer thin body, topped off with a Dolly Parton-esqu hairdo, created the impression of mutton dressed as lamb!

Stone’s choice of the bandage style dress with the plunging neckline also exposed her knobbley collar bones, and teamed up with the towering heels merely extended her lollipop look.

On the other end of the weight spectrum, also attending the star studded meal (and probably having no problem with her basic instinct to feed her face) was anothe Sharon, the former X Factor judge, Sharon Osborne who, with food on offer, was accompanied by her chubby daughter, Kelly Osbourne.

But even with her malnourished appearance, Stone did manage to take to the podium to host a live auction that included items donated by singers Bette Midler, Pink, Gwen Stefani and Alicia Keys.
