Revenge of the pouf!
I’ll be honest. I am a fashion-obsessed urbanite who has never been THAT into Sex and the City. And I admit - I never really “got” a lot of the outfits which were supposed to be so fashion-forward, super-stylish and really ground breaking. Sure, the shoes I could get into, and I’m all for a crazy mish-mash of new ways to put together an outfit, but it was hard for me to really appreciate the SATC ensembles. But, the movie may just change all that.
Some of the leaked pics are showing some choices that I can appreciate.
This green look Sarah Jessica Parker’s wearing (while also very shi-shi and tres expensive) is classy with a couple trendy twists and actually looks like something you’d believe people would wear. The colors of this red, black and white dress are definitely hitting the trend-spot, and again, it’s something I could see a normal person actually wearing.
Woahohh here she comes…watch out boys she’ll chew you up…
Kim Cattrall’s rocking the yellow and black color combination which will always look classy and complimentary on blonds with fair skin - and we even kind of dig her red-hot 80s power-lunch look.
Of course, there are still some pretty “out there” ensembles - but what would SATC be without them?
