Well she’s stopping more than the music now with her newly acquired celebrity fashion icon status. As she floated along the red carpet at the 9th NRJ Music Awards in Cannes, France, last weekend she showed the world that she wont be hiding under her Umbrella in the future.

Rihanna, 19, confidently stood out in a grey Grecian-inspired single shoulder flowing dress that grazed the floor. It accentuated her curves, ruched at the waist to her right side, her chic hair do, short and straight, revealed her star tattoos on her neck and three piercings on her ears. Coupled with her black high heeled basket-weave ankle-wrap strap sandals she looked totally at ease as she walked tall among many of the world’s greatest performers such as Kylie Minogue, Celine Dion and girlfriend of Johnny Depp, Vanessa Paradis.

Now there’s a girl who Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and many other more mature (in age if nothing else) and well established fashion disasters could take a lesson from.
