In the past few weeks we’ve seen the ‘well past his sell by date’ Mickey Rourke attempting a come back after years in the doldrums as The Wrestler, with his version of blonde hair and black roots and cosmetic surgery and now, with even more ‘miles on her clock‘, Pamela Anderson has made an appearance at New York fashion week wearing a, less than haute couture, gold bikini, parading herself at the Richie Rich fashion show which he named, Blondes Have More Fun.

The question is, do blondes with black roots, implants and Botox, have more fun or is Richie aiming his fashion line at real young attractive blondes. If it’s the later, we can only imagine that any self respecting young blonde would never want to emulate what used to be the Baywatch babe, Pamela, who would be well advised to leave the Baywatch look behind and concentrate on dressing more age appropriate.

Donning a gold swimsuit and exhibiting her 41 year old body on the catwalk at New York’s fashion week, Pam has only served to show that there comes a time when its best to take to the cat walk modeling something a little more classy and in keeping with her status as a mother and a woman in her 4^th decade of life, than to strut her stuff looking like Jane Fonda’s 1968, Barbarella!
