The star of last year’s Christmas box office hit, Enchanted, certainly continued to enchant onlookers as she took to the red carpet at the ArcLight cinema in Hollywood, California last night.
The religious drama, Doubt, from a play by John Patrick Shanley, first appeared as a play on Broadway in 2004 and ran through 2006, is now set to have its cinema launch in early December 2008.
Adams will play the pivotal role of a young nun, Sister James, in the middle of a tense confrontation in which a Bronx Catholic school principal, played by Meryl Streep accuses a priest of pedophilia.
