‘Fashion for Relief’

As the founder of the 2005 charity ‘Fashion for Relief’ Naomi Campbell has now ‘put her trikini where her tummy is’ and made a surprise celebrity appearance and taken to the catwalks of Milan sporting next years designs for the beaches of St Tropez, Monte Carlo and California.

While the majority of us are just dragging out our winter woolies, Naomi led a bevvy of bathing beauties down the catwalk, displaying the barely-there trikini, a bikini design with a linked front section, which will be a must-have for anyone wanting to make an impression by the shore in 2008.

This limited edition collection of bikinis, trikinis and evening dresses were the designs of Italian design duo Alessandra and Francesca Piacentini.

On Thursday Gianni Versace and Fendi will be showing their designs along with the British designer John Richmond, the festivities will be winding up on Friday and Saturday.

The charitable organisation founded by Naomi in 2005Â raised $1 million for the American victims of Hurricane Katrina and this year it will benefit the victims of the UK floods which swept central England earlier this summer.

One hundred and fifty of the designs are to be sold on line to raise money for the charity.

The question that remains now is, where can we all get a body that will look as good as Miss Campbell’s in a trikini?
