Isn’t it ironic that people who spend their lives writing about celebs and trends somehow end up becoming iconic and trendy themselves? Such is the case with Vogue editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour. Her job “forces” her to hobnob at fashion shows, rub elbows at galas and be all-around fab.
So doesn’t it seem sorta fitting that she’d be hot on the heels to do what tons of other celebs have done? Create her own fashion line? She’s not actually designing clothes - no, this matriarch is going above and beyond clothes and dabbling in the high-end watch market. She appears to be the inspiration behind a fine watch line - the new “Wintour” brand of watches at the JCK jewelry trade show.
While Wintour herself has no affiliation with Wintour the brand, no one’s saying if it ACTUALLY references her. Maybe the hands are sunglass stems? And the company isn’t showing its cards: “You will understand when you see it,” said a representative for the brand.
