Fashion meets the screen continues - this time on the small screen - as Shirley MacLaine channels Coco Chanel for a Lifetime original miniseries about Coco. MacLaine - a legend in her own rite - is in Paris; she’s shooting at the city’s famed Cinecittà Studios, getting her chance to show the world the personal life of Coco Chanel.

Kirsten Dunst is still lending her face to Miu Miu for their Spring campaign, but she’s already got something else on her plate. She will be Lutz & Patmos’ guest designer for fall. So far, Dunst - who has said her only design aspirations were using deflated balloons to dress her Barbies - has apparently whipped up a long crewneck sweater that can also be worn as a dress.

Karl Lagerfeld added some star power to fellow fashion celeb Valentino’s last fashion show in Paris. Following the show, Valentino was decorated with a medal from the city. In his speech, Valentino quoted Josephine Baker’s signature song in his acceptance speech, saying, “I have two loves — my country and Paris.”
