Maybe diet Coke got a complex about being the lighter, nearly-the-worst-tasting beverage in the Coke family. Maybe fashionistas want to feel better about their beverage choice. Maybe it’s so every one involved can have a little fun. Whatever the reason, the company brought in Roberto Cavalli to give the beverage a makeover in time fo women’s fashion week in Milan at the end of September.
Roberto Cavalli was picked to charge things up and he’s staying true to his style: giving the tiny glass bottles three motifs featuring his staple animal spots and stripes.
The limited edition bottles will be available in Italy from September through December.
Cavalli compared creating looks for the 300,000 curvy containers to designing dresses for his customers, making them, “seductive and feminine, in typical Cavalli style.”
