Jessica Simpson’s looks can go both ways. I’ve always thought her style was cute and girly, but she has made some odd choices – most notably the continual wear of jean cut-offs long after her role as Daisy Duke was over (and we mean OVER). J.Lo was looking a little washed out as she headed to a photo shoot in NYC this week. Could it be the blond-ish hair? She usually looks so bronzed and beautiful, we’re not sure what’s going on – maybe the lighter hair just isn’t working on her? Or maybe, since she was heading to a shoot, she figured she’d let the hair and makeup people take care of her woes.

 The Wizard of Oz is turning 70 next year, and Warner Brother’s isn’t letting that milestone go un-noticed, or un-milked of all its retail potential. The company is partnering with 19 designers who will each create their own incarnation of the iconic shoes. Swarovski will be implemented into the designs created by the likes of Christian Louboutin, Diane von Furstenberg, Gwen Stefani (her design is to the left), and Jimmy Choo.

Each designer will use Crystallized Swarovski Elements in their designs, which will be officially unveiled in Saks Fifth Avenue’s windows and designer shoe salon during a gala on September read more ....

 It was a celeb-filled day for the Dsquared boutique in Milan as Rihanna - escorted and assisted by boutique owners Dean and Dan Caten - went on a shopping spree and picked up a racer-back black dress from the line’s new fall collection. The pop star was in town to perform at an MTV event - which the designers also helped dress her for. She sported one of their halterneck satin trimmed jumpsuit on stage at the event.

You’ve gotta love the guts of a girl who so unabashedly self-promotes, that she names her new clothing line after herself, and the city that made her “famous.” And the ads for the collection do not disappoint. Heidi clearly thinks she’s a model, striking just about every “vogue” pose in the book, as she presents her fall collection in LookBook.

If you peruse her line, you won’t just be seeing more of Heidi, you’ll be seeing a LOT more than you may want to, thanks to her skin hugging skinny jeans and, well, “chest-enhancing” tops.

 If anyone things that tattoos can’t be a form of fashion or artistic expression, you might think again when you see the tattoo-inspired handbags created by Belgain artist Jean-Luc Moerman.

He’s famous for his tattoo-like renderings of shapes on photographs and collaborated with French fashion house Longchamp to design a limited edition anniversary collection.

After a day of shooting on the set of Desperate Housewives, Eva Longoria must’ve wanted a change, because when she was seen later that night with her hubby at the restaurant Toast, she was sporting a new, chopped off hairstyle.
It’s always a bit shocking when you see a star make such a drastic change so quickly! As I’ve talked about before, a chop like that can often signify a change in someone’s life, but so far everything seems to be holding steady for Eva.

And thanks to the magic of hair extensions, she’ll no doubt be long-locked again.

What do these three have in common? Why, a gala in the Hamptons of course! Evelyn and Leonard Lauder hosted a private screening of Mamma Mia! complete with a guest list including none other than former Bond, Pierce Brosnan.

Bond’s cache no doubt helped draw out some of the stars who turned up, including Barbara Walters (who showed up looking somewhat … Western?), Katie Couric and Tory Burch (who of course looked colorful and glam!).

Brosnan appears in the film as Meryl Streep’s former boyfriend -  one of several her character dated during her free-spirited youth.

 It seems like celebutauntes feel like their star careers can take on a number of genres. Model-turned-French-First-Lady, Carla Bruni Sarkozy is now undertaking a singing career. But she’s mixing fashion with her crooning as well. According to a European source, the tuxedo that Carla wears in the promotional images for her new album was created by none other than Christian Dior. The suit was apparently by Dior Homme designer Kris Van Assche, complete with a butterfly detail on the lapel straight from his fall/winter runway.
