Even Coke can be Haute With the Help Of Robert Cavalli!

Posted under fashion & Robert Cavalli

Maybe diet Coke got a complex about being the lighter, nearly-the-worst-tasting beverage in the Coke family. Maybe fashionistas want to feel better about their beverage choice. Maybe it’s so every one involved can have a little fun. Whatever the reason, the company brought in Roberto Cavalli to give the beverage a makeover in time fo women’s fashion week in Milan at the end of September.
Roberto Cavalli was picked to charge things up and he’s staying true to his style: giving the tiny glass bottles three motifs featuring his staple animal spots and stripes.
The limited edition bottles will be read more ....

Patrick Dempsey Accessorizes With a Mercedes

Posted under fashion & Katherine Heigl & Patrick Dempsey

Patrick Dempsey has been a busy man what with spending time with his family and going back to work on Grey’s Anatomy - so it’s good to see he’s fit in some time with the other loves of his life.

Women may go for amazing shoes or the latest handbag, but Patrick is showing us that guys can have shiny new accessories, too.

He took his Mercedes convertible out for a spin around Beverly Hills earlier this week. Of course, with the drama surrounding McDreamy’s hit show - namely Katherine Heigl’s Emmy withdrawl and the subsequent rumors that she may be read more ....

Miley Cyrus Gets A New ‘Do Worth Seven Hours?!

Posted under fashion & Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus spent seven hours in LA salon, Juan Juan this weekend with her mom - getting extensions added to their hair.

Now, I’m not a big Miley follower, but doesn’t her hair look kind of the same? Same or not, it hardly seems worth the seven hours it took. Rumor had it that they had to wait for special extensions for Miley’s hair, which caused the hold-up. But - since the salon also offers some awesome beauty treatments like massage and manicures, I’m sure they weren’t just wasting time. And can I also say that Tish - Miley’s mom read more ....

Dark Knight Storms Tokyo

Posted under fashion & Maggie Gyllenhaal & Christian Bale

I saw Maggie Gyllenhaal on the Daily Show a couple nights ago and was enamored of her adorable - yet simple and modest - black dress.  She wow’d me again with this similar selection for the Batman press junket in Tokyo.

Plus, standing between her somewhat slouchy looking co-stars, she looks like a million bucks. (Not that we’re not a HUGE fan of Christian Bale and his Batman character, but he’s rockin jeans and tennis shoes. Maybe he’s tired of dressing up for these events.)
Of course, the gang was sure to pay homage to his dear friend Heath Ledger, read more ....

Fergie’s Shoes Need No Introduction

Posted under fashion & Fergie

I love these shoes so much I’m not sure they need an introduction … after all a picture IS worth a thousand words.

This is Fergie’s absolutely adorable new line of footwear which launched this week at the Las Vegas convention center.

From chunky platforms to dramatic gladiator sandals we love them all! We weren’t sure what to expect since Fergie is sometimes a fashion hit or miss, but as she proves in this dress, she may finally be getting her fashionably consistent footing (no pun intended)!

The shoes are definitely dramatic - between the wedges, the heels and the read more ....

Things are a-buzz for John Mayer

Posted under fashion & Jennifer Aniston & John Mayer

Usually it’s female celeb hair that makes headlines, but this time we’ve got a shout-out to John Mayer who buzzed of his quintessentially emo-kid, mellow-rocker locks in favor of a short, low-maintenance cut.
I totally get wanting a change, but I’m not sure how I feel about his new short style. I tend to actually like the emo-rocker look and I’m just not convinced he has the face to pull off a close-cropped ‘do. But hey, hair grows back, and who can blame a guy for wanting to try something new. What do you think about the cut?
Here’s another read more ....

Giselle Bundchen Rocks the Hands of Time

Posted under fashion & Gisele Bundchen & derek jeter

Gisele Bundchen is lending her face - and mostly-naked body (although it’s covered by a sheet, sorry to disappoint) to the company, Ebel and it’s sister-brand, watch-maker Movado.

In the ad she wears nothing but an Ebel sheet and the new Beluga watch. The photographer of the campaign said he was seeking to evoke a  sense of femininity, mystery and luxury - is that what we’re calling pouty lips and near-nakedness nowadays? Good to  know.

Gisele won’t be the only beautiful face making an appearance for the watch company. Derek Jeter of the New York Yankees is also back as read more ....

Red Carpet Casual

Posted under fashion & Angelina Jolie

Who says strutting the red carpet has to be a formal affair (especially when it comes to the premier of the X-Files movie, which I heard from more than one source, tanked)?

Diance Kruger proved that “red carpet” can sometimes mean “fashionably casual” by donning cute skinny jeans, and an American Apparel top.

Diance did, of course, dress up the look a bit with peep-toe high heels, a matching scarf and an amazing studded clutch. She proves that sometimes looking put together and somewhat casual can even be better than going semi-formal.

If only some of these red-carpet looks could’ve helped save read more ....

Short Today, Long Tomorrow

Posted under fashion & Selma Blair

Stars love playing with different hair styles! Lengths, colors, etc.

Changing their look with a clip of the scissors or the “click” of an extension being snapped into place.

Sure, a lot of it has to do with the roles they play and they tend to go be at the director’s - and stylist’s mercy for many of these parts.

Such was perhaps the case with Selma Blair this weekend who stepped out in new, long, dark locks. Selma has been out and about a lot lately, promoting her new movie, Hellboy 2 and working on her new show Kath read more ....

Why Not Add Some Batman to your Wardrobe?

Posted under fashion & Hilary Duff

Halloween may still be several months away but a new look seen on the likes of Hilary Duff is just in time for Batman.

These batwing shirts are becoming a new wardrobe staple for the transition from summer to fall.

The long flowy sleeves give it an ethereal feel and black makes it even more bewitching.
If you think this particular look is too costumy, consider playing it down with jeans instead of pants and flats instead of edgy booties. I’ve never been a huge fan of booties with shorts, so you may want to go for something a little read more ....
