The Sex and the City movie comes out this Wednesday, and devout fans - and even those who may have not been so religious about watching the show - have burning questions concerning what the flick will or won’t answer:  Will Carrie and Big get married? Will Charlotte finally get pregnant? Will Samantha stay with one man? Will Miranda be happy with Steve and son in Brooklyn?

An auction in France presided over by Sharon Stone brought out more than a few good men (and women) willing to donate to a cause - with the underlying motivation, no doubt, of seeing and being seen!
The annual Cinema Against AIDS gala was also hosted by Madonna, who was making her first appearance in Cannes with her documentary “I Am Because We Are.” Stone made it very clear that the two leading ladies were NOT in a power struggle:

When young stars and artsy performers get bored of store opening parties, red carpets and runway fashion, where do they go? This week, they headed to model-turned-vintage retailer Justin Kern’s salon in the Hollywood Hills.

Previous gatherings of those in H-wood who wanted more cerebral stimulation set the stage for the event. Some such events brought out alterna-stars like Mario Testino and Dita Von Teese. This time Kern invited starlet Jena Malone and her two-person band “The Shoe” to perform on a toy piano and xylophone.

Jessica Seinfeld drew out privileged tots and their super-star parents with her second annual Baby Buggy Bedtime Bash. The party featured a cupcake station filled with veggie-related concoctions - and before you wonder how in the world vegetables and cupcakes go together, you should refer to Seinfeld’s book, Deceptively Delicious. Her website describes the confections as “delicious and easy-to-make stealth recipes that sneak in puréed veggies so kids will never suspect the foods they love are actually good for them!

“This way,” Seinfeld says, “the kids aren’t all wound up with sugar,” the hostess explained.

Actress Minka Kelly was looking amazing and smelling sweet at the Fifi Fragrance Awards. The star - who appeared in Friday Night Lights, and is now filming the movie, 500 Days of summer - showed up to the event looking much like a ballerina, in an ethereal, floaty frock complete with layers of fabric, and a pretty pink bow.

Minka had to make a good impression as she was, after all, a presenter at the sweet-smelling event. She accessorized with a Daniel Swarovski clutch, Neil Lane gems and Rene Caovilla sandals.

Cameron Diaz appeared to have absolutely no hair on the set of her new movie, My Sister’s Keeper. But, before you go wielding razors in an effort to keep up with Hollywood hair trends, we should probably tell you - it was just a bald cap. I know, I know, looks like those actors just keep taking the easy way out! What about getting into character?! Commitment to the role?!

Of course, we kid. It looks like Cam may have been going hairless as part of a plotline where her daughter is diagnosed with cancer.

I know, I know, weddings are about pledging love for eternity and promising devotion to your significant other. It’s a big comittment, it really is. But when it comes to a Hollywood wedding, you really have to fixate yourself on something else. Not only because the shelf-life of a marriage lived in the public eye is virtually nothing, but also because you can only write about “endless summer flowers,” and “frothy dresses fit for princesses” for so long.

Kate Moss has spun herself into quite a fashion icon, and she’s continuing to cash in on that status. Most recently, her newest summer line for TopShop hit stores in the UK, causing the usual chaos - y’know, lines around the block, fighting over frilly frocks, etc. She’s probably one of the only celebs who has really managed to create a crazed fashion following with her mass audience.

It seems like a nearly impossible combination to me -  walk down the red carpet, two buns in the oven, and haute couture attire. But Angelina Jolie’s secret is out. She’s not trying to balance her very pregnant body on the verge of five inch heels or super high platforms. No, this mom is opting for practical. And are we surprised? This is the same women who will traipse around third world countries like it’s no big deal.

Sex and the City is known for bringing a lot of things into the limelight of pop culture - namely, daring fashion trends and lust-worthy footwear. And the release of the highly anticipated SATC movie is drawing near - as is a chance to see what the quartet will be strapping onto their feet.
