Ever since I spent a couple months in Tokyo, I’ve been obsessed with true Japanese Harajuku fashion. Take-off of these crazy, costumed, colorful teen trends brought to the American consciousness by Gwen Stefani, and now she’s taking it one step further. Stefani is launching the “Harajuku Lovers” fragrance line with her first scent to be released in September.

The ad has already been released, and it lives up to the wonderfully crazy-cute images its name conjures up.

Why would someone as high profile, and as much of a fashion and music icon as Britney Spears is, team a bright colored bra with an almost see through white top? And its not her first ‘bra faux pas’. To a list including designers like Isaac Mizrahi and fashionistas like Kate Moss, add jewelry maker Dean Harris to the list of fashion greats designing for Target.

Only one year after he started his business, he was deemed “best new accessory designer” by the Council of Fashion Designers of America. That was nine years ago, and today, the designs of Harris can be seen on the runways of Marc Jacobs, Derek Lam - and not Target. One of her claims to fame may be her famous “doctor” husband, and - following Avon’s acquisition of McDreamy’s wife, Jillian Dempsey as their global creative color director in 2006 - the former makeup artist is now bringing her husband to the table.

Patrick Dempsey of Grey’s Anatomy will be the face of a signature men’s fragrance scheduled to be released this November. This isn’t the only pie Dempsey’s got his hands in. This agreement comes on the heels of his his Versace ads, and of course a winning career as a heartthrob doctor.
