Wow. We haven’t seen boots like these since the days when Julia Roberts was donning a blonde bob and soliciting sex in Pretty Woman. Seeing as how that movie was made more than ten years ago, we didn’t expect to see trends from it again in the new millennium.

So with The Hills finally ending for the season, where on earth are we going to get all of our fashion fixes? Oh come on. You know that’s the only reason I sit through that half hour of fake drama each week…well, that and, I’m addicted.  

As I was saying, though: where, oh where will we learn about the Hollywood fashion scene now?! Oh, that’s right the season isn’t over! Ha! There’s a spoiler for those of you who haven’t watched your DVR event yet.

Yeah, you’ve heard the song. And if you see any commercials for Giorgio Armani’s new fragrance campaign, you’ll get to hear Beyonce singing it.

Well, the campaign has been around for a little while here in the U.S., but over in Italy, they haven’t gotten to, er, enjoy Beyonce’s lovely rendition of this hit Broadway tune.

Anyway, across the ocean today, Beyonce was hanging out with her pal Armani for the fragrance’s launch. Apparently it’s all up to the singer to do a good job launching the Emporio Armani scent, “Diamonds”, at Rinascente’s flagship in Piazza Duomo. Designers don’t do read more ....

Ah, shorts in winter. The idea brings back the memory of “walking shorts” - my mom dressed me in these winter-themed shorts when I was growing up. They were usually plaid, and a big longer than typical “summer” shorts. And, of course, you always wore them with opaque tights. So I admit, when I first saw people wearing tights or leggings under their shorts to convert them to a winter look, I was a little skeptical. But the look’s grown on me - as it has some of our fashion-forward celeb favorites.

While Victoria Beckham may be having a very “spice-y” Christmas, her hott hubby is making headlines of his own. His Armani campaign doesn’t hit ad pages everywhere until March, but London fans are having trouble waiting that long!

One store saw a 50 percent leap in sales of Armani white men’s briefs after there were reports in the British press that Beckham would be the new face … excuse us, the new BODY … of Emporio Armani underwear.

Sales of the entire Emporio Armani underwear line rose on average by 30 percent across the range, the store said.

It looks like Brad Pitt is riding around on one of the baddest fashion accessories he could find: his motorcycle!

And not only does he ride it around Beverly Hills and L.A., he makes sure to find motorcycles when he’s traveling abroad. Wow, Brad is one dedicated biker.

Doesn’t it just seem like all the bad boys have a little toy like this, though? Think about all the ‘bad’ celebrities who ride their bikes around: you’ve got Ben Affleck, George Clooney, and, of course, Brad Pitt. The leggings trend seems here to stay… for now. Even in the cold winter months, or maybe because of the cold winter months, we’ve been seeing an abundance of the tight leg-wear.

I have to admit, though, the style makes it a whole lot easier to pull off short dresses in the wintertime. Just check out Jessica Alba, Drew Barrymore, and Kate Beckinsale. They sure don’t seem to be cold! But then again, maybe that’s because they live in bright, sunny California. Huh.

Bluefly’s blog, Flypaper, just put out a posting that I think needs to be addressed for the sake of guys everywhere.

Usually I just let other people post their fashion opinions and I post mine, but really, guys wearing brooches? No way. There is no guy that I know who would be caught dead wearing a brooch.

In all fairness, I even did a search to see if people worth mentioning (that means celebrities) were following this supposed trend. Yeah, they’re not. Well, except for the girls.

So Hayden Panettiere got caught by the paparazzi doing some errands yesterday. Yeah, very exciting. But what was probably a dull day for Hayden still gave us a few cues as to what’s fashionable.
