Feeling somewhat down at heel lately with the recession biting hard into your fashion spending budget?
Well don’t worry, as Michael Jackson sings, ‘You Are Not Alone’!
Even high flying Jimmy Choo has gone down market as he now launches a range of his normally high end footwear at low end store, H&M. Maybe we’ll be seeing Tiffany using Walmart as an outlet in weeks to come!

The British clothing outlet have in recent years collaborated with the likes of other A Listers such as Madonna, Kate Moss, Kylie Minogue and even a Beatle’s daughter, Stella McCartney.
The world-famous brand - chosen by the A-list for red carpet appearances and given mass appeal by Sarah Jessica Parker’s character Carrie in Sex and The City - will be creating a line of covetable shoes and bags for H&M, as well as a line of women’s clothing that will be designed to match the accessories.

Code word for, Jimmy Choo is suffering along with the rest of us during the recession! Isn’t it great to hear that its not just us mere mortals who have to down grade?
Margareta van den Bosch, creative advisor to H&M, said today, ‘We adore Jimmy Choo’s shoes and bags. So for all the women out there who, like Carrie, spent the money they were saving up to buy a house on shoes instead, this could be the collaboration they’ve been waiting for. Now they can afford the shoes and the apartment.
Who the hell is she kidding?
