Are The Fashion Police After David Beckham and Prince Harry?

It looks like Prince Harry and David Beckham may have been caught with their pants down, in the least expected manner!

Apparently, both Becks and Harry have had their name banded around a Florida courtroom where Julius Hart, 18, was in court for breaking a recently enforced by law that prohibits men wearing low rise trousers which show off their underwear.

Citing Queen Elizabeth II’s grandson and the England sticker’s fashion sense as a basis for the ‘style’, fashion expert Chelsea Rousso of Fort Lauderdale Art Institute produced photographic evidence of both the Brits wearing their pants in that manner.

Rousso told the judge, ‘They’re expressing that they need to be able to fit into the group that they’re with at the time. They’re part of a community that follows the hip-hop music scene, that possibly is rebellious.’

The case follows the fact that low-slung trousers are associated with the gangster culture as it emulates men in the prison system who are not allowed to wear belts to hold up their pants, as belts can be used for suicide bids and other dangerous past times!

Even President Barack Obama weighed in on the issue last year when he suggested the youth of America hiked up their waistbands. Obama said in an interview, ‘Brothers should pull up their pants. Some people might not want to see your underwear - and I’m one of them.’

In the courtroom it was suggested that if Harry or Becks wore their trousers in this manner in the Palm Beach area they would be arrested and imprisoned in the same way as Hart.

Well, the likelihood of either Becks or Harry walking the streets of Florida dressed like inmates isn’t a situation that we see happening anytime soon, so maybe Hart should adopt a different line of defense.
