As Carrie Bradshaw says in the voice over at the beginning of Sex and the City as she leaves the night club called Paris, ‘even in New York you can have Paris.’ 

Its been four years since we had a taste, and now its nearly time again! May 28^th is rapidly approaching and all of us Sex and the City fans have the date well and truly circled on our calendars and are busy gathering together all our Manolo Blahnik shoes, our Prada dresses and sipping the cosmopolitans while teetering around in 4 inch heels ready for that first night read more ....

Ok, we know. The Oscars’ red carpet - and pretty much any other red carpet event - are all about the dresses, the fashion hits and misses. But we’d like to pay homage to the couples that get it right. It’s not always easy to look good together, yet not come off looking too matchy-matchy.

The BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) also took place this past weekend, and gave stars another reason to sachet down the red carpet in whatever look happened to catch their fancy.

British actress Emily Blunt went asymetrical an unique with this aqua, one-shouldered gown. It’s very classic but we love that she’s trying a color we don’t too often see on the red carpet.
