Hillary Clinton showed up on the cover of Vogue during her time as first lady, and the magazine is wondering if she could’ve done better if only she’d agreed to be featured again.

The magazines contributing political writer, Julia Reed, had been planning a spread about Clinton and her bid for the White House for months, sitting down to meal after meal with the candidate’s publicist to hash out the details. Then - according to Anna Wintour’s Editor’s Letter in the fashion magazine - access was cut off, she says, either because it was deemed too feminine or too elitist.

A celeb in her own right, Sen. Hillary Clinton is being courted by Svedka Vodka. No, the Swedish liquor label isn’t looking for the politician to front a new ad campaign (although who could blame either party if that was the case?!). They’re instead taking out a full-page ad in The New York Times a coupon that Clinton can redeem for a personal supply of the brand’s vodka for the remainder of the election season.

It’s part of Svedka’s election-themed ad campaign, which parodies the traditional election by trying to elect a fembot named “Svedka_Grl” to the White House.

Here’s something you don’t see too often – and in the “what goes around, comes around” world of Hollywood, we love that…a British star stumping for an American politician!

Simon Woods, known for his roles in Pride & Prejudice and Rome, may be showing up at your door in hopes of getting your vote for Hillary Clinton. Prior to crossing the pond to campaign, the actor was one of the faces of Yves Saint Laurent’s men’s wear line in a film designer Stefano Pilati presented to the press in Paris last week.
